All of us at MotoAmerica extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fans of rider Jace Hasskew, who has passed away at the age of 30.

A former Sergeant in the United States Army where he served as a paratrooper, Hasskew started racing motorcycles when he was eight years old. The Ohio-based rider was a member of several motorcycle road racing organizations, and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course was his home track.
Over the past couple of years, he dipped his toe in MotoAmerca where he raced a Yamaha YZF-R7 in the SC-Project Twins Cup Championship at select rounds.
Hasskew was known for his constant smile and big personality, and he was a mentor and coach for young riders like fellow Ohioan Ian Fraley. Robert Lackey, co-founder of Bison leathers and one of Hasskew’s sponsors, said, “Jace was one of the most positive, brightest-smiling people in the paddock. He will be missed.”
Ride in peace and Godspeed, Jace.
