As we close out another week during the off-season, and most of us anticipate the monster winter storm that’s bearing down on a good portion of the continental U.S., set to wreak havoc on our weekend, we pause to recognize that MotoAmerica Twins Cup rider Elisa Gendron Belen just had what can only be described as her best week ever.
To start with, Gendron Belen got married this past Saturday to her soulmate, teammate, and fellow Twins Cup road racer Levi Badie. The ceremony was held in central New York State near her home, and snow on the ground added a special touch to the wedding photos.
Shortly after the nuptials, Gendron Belen followed up with news about her 2026 road racing plans.

She”ll be racing once again this year in the Twins Cup Championship and back aboard a Suzuki GSX-8R for a second year in MotoAmerica’s highly competitive twin-cylinder class. Karns Performance will continue to prep her bike, but this year, Gendron Belen will be with BGB Racing.
“Elisa has shown consistent growth as a racer, both on and off the track,” commented a member of the BGB Racing team. “With a full season of Twins Cup experience behind her, 2026 is about taking the next step forward and competing deeper into the field.”
Elisa’s 2026 racing effort is supported by a dedicated group of partners, including Bison Leathers, Charlie’s Chop Shop, Certified Knee Draggers, EvolveGT Track Days, N2 Track Days, Ruts to Racelines, New York Safety Track, Belen Dental, NG Brakes, Meck’s Autobody, and Woodcraft Technologies.
Gendron Belen continues to distinguish herself academically. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from St. John Fisher University in Rocheser, New York, and she recently completed her MBA at St. John Fisher, as well. Her skillset, which encompasses a rare combination of elite-level racing experience and advanced business education, has positioned her well for a long-term career in motorsports.
Congratulations to the bride and groom, Elisa Gendron Belen and Levi Badie.
The only thing left for us to discover is if Elisa will now go by the full name of Elisa Gendron Belen Badie. It’s a mouthful, but it does have a nice ring to it.
