The MotoAmerica paddock is heading to Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, this weekend, and MP13 Racing has announced a significant update to its rider lineup. With Ella Dreher currently sidelined as she recovers from injuries sustained in a racing incident at Barber Motorsports Park, team owner Melissa Paris has called upon Joseph LiMandri Jr. to fill the seat.

Affectionately known to his fans as “Bazooka Joe,” LiMandri Jr. brings a wealth of experience to the MP13 Racing squad. His MotoAmerica resume is extensive, with competitive history in the Junior Cup, Twins Cup, and Supersport classes, as well as consecutive appearances in the prestigious Daytona 200 over the last two years.

His transition to the team’s MV Agusta F3 RR should be bolstered by a recent test session he completed with the machine at New Jersey Motorsports Park, ensuring he isn’t starting from scratch when he hits the track this Friday.

While the circumstances are bittersweet, LiMandri Jr. expressed his gratitude for the opportunity while keeping his teammate in mind. “First and foremost, I want to wish Ella a speedy recovery,” LiMandri Jr. stated, adding that he is ready to work with the team to “help move the MP13 race program forward.”

Team owner Melissa Paris noted that Joe’s name was at the top of the list when looking for a replacement. “We have all seen the results he is capable of delivering,” Paris said. “We are really excited to see what he can do aboard our MV Agusta F3 RR.”

Joe will be racing alongside teammate Avery Dreher, forming a formidable duo for the Supersport Championship. Fans should look for the #641 on Joe’s bike—a slight variation from his traditional #64.
