The following is from N2 and BHM…

N2, BobbleHeadMoto (BHM), and Blake Davis are joining forces to compete in the 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship on a Yamaha YZF-R6 with continuing support from Yamaha.

According to N2 partner Kris Smith, “Our team has come a long way in the last six years of MotoAmerica racing. We initially started in Supersport and have a lot of valuable experience with the Yamaha R6 chassis, so I’m looking forward to putting that knowledge to use with Blake as our pilot.

“Blake joined our team as a very young rider to race a Yamaha R3 in Junior Cup and then quickly graduated to the Twins Cup, where he proceeded to win back-to-back championships and definitely earned a move up.

“Our whole team is excited about going back to a stacked 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport grid with a rider as talented as Blake. I appreciate that Shiloh Salopek will continue on as our team manager and crew chief along with all of our Twins Cup Championship-winning team members for a run at the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. We’re hoping to put the venerable Yamaha R6 on the box more than a few times. I know that would be a good way to thank Tom Halverson at Yamaha for the support and guidance he’s provided us over the years.”

BHM owner, N2 team manager and crew chief Shiloh Salopek added, “I am happy to be continuing the program with N2 and Blake. I am also very excited to be back in Supersport and to fly the Yamaha flag in this extremely competitive class. I believe we have put together a good program for 2024, and I’m looking forward to the battle ahead.”

Blake Davis commented, “I’m very excited and grateful for the opportunity that’s been provided to me by N2, BHM, and Yamaha. I was able to ride in four MotoAmerica Supersport races that didn’t conflict with my Twins Cup Championship last year, and that gave me valuable experience on the bike. I loved riding the Yamaha, and our team has a lot of data on the R6, which will help me. The competition will be very strong in Supersport, so I want to make sure I stick to my training and testing and be ready for the season.”
