Brazilian Danilo Lewis will return for a second season of MotoAmerica racing in 2021 on his Team Procomps BMW.

Danilo Lewis is headed back to the MotoAmerica Series for a second season, with the Brazilian set to campaign the Team Procomps BMW S 1000 RR in the 2021 MotoAmerica Stock 1000 class.

Lewis, who finished eighth in the 2020 Stock 1000 Championship and fourth in the MotoAmerica Superbike Cup in his debut season of MotoAmerica racing, earned the first podium finish of his MotoAmerica career in the final race of the 2020 season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Lewis is hoping to build on that in 2021 knowing that he now has a new motorcycle and the knowledge of the tracks and the Dunlop tires.

“Last season was very difficult due to the worldwide situation,” Lewis said. “I am excited to be back this year and hope things will be better. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
