MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing, which competes in MotoAmerica’s Supersport Championship, is going international with half of its rider lineup for next weekend’s Permco MotoAmerica Superbikes At Mid-Ohio event, which takes place at the storied Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The team is bringing in Australian rider Cameron Dunker, who finished a very strong fourth in the 2026 Australian Superbike Championship’s final points standing. The announcement was made by MP13 Racing team owner Melissa Paris and One Cure Racing’s David Pierce.
Nineteen-year-old Dunker teams up with New York-based rider Joseph LiMandri Jr., who joined MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing two MotoAmerica rounds ago at Ridge Motorsports Park, also raced for the team at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and will continue to race the #641 MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing MV Agusta F3 RR.
Paris, who raced as LiMandri Jr.’s teammate at Laguna Seca, personally selected Dunker to join the team.
“You never want to be in the position of looking for a fill-in rider midseason, let alone two of them,” commented Paris. “As a team, we have tried to reframe it as an opportunity for some of these riders to prove that they deserve a place in the MotoAmerica paddock. Cameron obviously has an impressive resume back in Australia, and he also has a few people I trust who vouched for him. It will be a big challenge for him, throwing a leg over a new motorcycle and trying to learn a track like Mid-Ohio on the fly, but I have all the faith in my team and his talent.”
Dunker, who hails from Kurri Kurri, New South Wales in Australia, will be aboard the #33 MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing MV Agusta middleweight machine. “I’m incredibly grateful to Melissa and the entire MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing team for giving me the opportunity to compete in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship,” Dunker said. “I’d also like to wish Avery and Ella Dreher all the best in their recoveries, and I hope they will be back on their bikes soon.
“It’s a privilege to step in and represent the team. I’m looking forward to getting to work, racing in America, and making the most of this amazing opportunity.”
The Return Of The Dynamic Dreher Duo
Avery and Ella Dreher are continuing to make progress in their recoveries from injuries suffered in separate on-track incidents earlier this season. In a poignant show of solidarity and support for the Dynamic Dreher Duo, Paris and Pierce are excited to announce that they have signed Ella and Avery to race for the team in the 2027 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship.
Paris said, “2026 was shaping up to be a dream season for MP13 Racing thanks to the support of the Pierces and One Cure Racing. Having both Ella and Avery get injured the way they did has definitely been a bit of a blow to the morale for the whole team. I’m so grateful to Mr. David and Miss Maxine for giving us all a chance to do it again next year. I’ve not met many racers with the same level of determination and drive I see from Ella and Avery… and I’m looking forward to getting back to work with them as soon as they are ready.”
One Cure Racing’s David Pierce added, “My affiliation with MP13 Racing is about creating opportunities for young people and to raise awareness for One Cure.
“It is very satisfying for my wife Maxine and me to give young riders who don’t have the means to pursue the sport on a professional level the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities before a wider audience. Ours is an expensive sport, and if our best young men and women are to succeed, they need some help. It is truly gratifying to make these resources available.”
About continuing with MP13 Racing/One Cure Racing in MotoAmerica’s 2027 Supersport Championship, Avery Dreher said, “I am really excited to continue with the MP13 Racing team for 2027. I love working with everyone on the team, and I feel like we can really build off this season. Racing Supersport this year has been amazing, and I’m having a blast on the MV Agusta. I’m stoked to get another go at it next year and keep progressing.”
Avery’s sister Ella added, “I’m super-stoked to be racing Supersport again in 2027 with the MP13/One Cure team. I had a a pretty big hiccup earlier this season, but I’ve been working hard every day to get stronger and get back on the bike. The MV Agusta is a sweet motorcycle. I can’t wait to throw my leg over it again and be back racing in MotoAmerica. I’d like to thank Melissa and the whole team for staying by my side through this ordeal, and I seriously can’t wait to get back racing again.”
About One Cure
Through One Cure, David and Maxine Pierce have a longstanding affiliation with the Colorado State University Veterinary Clinic and said, “We are of the unshakable opinion that the Colorado State University Veterinary Clinic is the very best at what they do. One Cure is an initiative to make the very best cancer treatments available to our companion animals and to enable successful treatments to also be made available to people. It is important to note that the research is made available to animals who present in the clinic. No animals are given cancer. Maxine and I have had several dogs with cancer and have participated in clinical trials to help expand the knowledge base in this very important work.”
Dunker and LiMandri Jr. will take to the track next Friday, July 31, at Mid-Ohio starting with Supersport Practice 1 at 9:30 a.m. ET. Supersport Qualifying 1 is also on Friday at 2:10 p.m. ET. Qualifying 2 will commence on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET, and Race 1 will go green at 1:20 p.m. ET on Saturday. Race 2 is on Sunday, also at 1:20 p.m. ET.
