Bradley Smith enters the 2026 Mission King of the Baggers season as a formidable title contender, returning with the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing team. Riding the specialized Harley-Davidson Road Glide, the British veteran brings a legendary resume to the MotoAmerica paddock, including a runner-up finish in the 125cc World Championship and multiple MotoGP podiums.

A true pioneer for British racing, Smith once broke Mike Hailwood’s record as the youngest Brit to reach 100 Grand Prix starts. After a decade at the pinnacle of Grand Prix racing—spanning 125cc, Moto2, MotoGP, and MotoE—he transitioned to the U.S. circuit, proving his versatility by securing three podiums during his 2025 Baggers campaign.

Coming off a year of adaptation, Smith is primed for a championship assault. “A year’s worth of experience on the Road Glide and familiarity with the tracks should elevate my results,” Smith noted. With his elite technical background and the support of a premier factory squad, Smith expects to be a constant front-runner in 2026.

Little Known Fact: In 2021 Bradley launched Project 109, a race team built to coach, train and guide riders and racers to achieve greatness. At the French GP in 2007 he became the youngest ever British rider to finish on the podium at that time. His second-place finish in the 2009 championship is the best performance by a British rider in the 125cc class since Chas Mortimer was second to Kent Andersson in 1973. Competed in the 2019 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for the One Energy Racing team. Was a test rider for BMW and helped develop the Superbike that won both the Superbike World Championship and the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship. Smith‘s father raced motocross, and the family owned an open practice track. Smith got his first motocross bike at age six.

2025 – Season was hampered by injury, but still managed three King of the Baggers podiums in his debut season in the series riding for Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing. Best result was 2nd at Daytona. Finished 9th in the series standings. 2024-2006 – Had a long and successful career racing Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championships. He earned 3 Grand Prix victories in the 125cc Grand Prix class and scored 20 podiums. Was second ranked in the 125 Grand Prix World Championship in 2009. In Moto2 he earned 3 podiums and top-10 rankings in both seasons in the class.. In MotoGP he earned 2 podiums with his top result a runner-up finish at Misano in 2015. Highest MotoGP ranking was sixth in 2015. Was part of the winning Yamaha factory team at the Suzuka 8 Hours in 2015.
