Brenden Ketelsen

Brenden Ketelsen joins the BPR Racing Yamaha squad for the 2026 MotoAmerica Supersport season, bringing a wealth of experience across multiple competitive classes. Ketelsen first made waves in 2017 as a two-time invitee to the prestigious Red Bull Rookies Selection event, signaling his potential on the international stage. In 2019, he showcased his consistency in the Junior Cup, finishing 14th overall with a standout 4th-place finish at Sonoma Raceway.

Following a strong 2023 Twins Cup campaign—where he secured 18th in the standings and a season-best 6th at Laguna Seca—Ketelsen transitioned to the middleweight ranks. After a year focused on club racing and select Supersport appearances, the California native is ready to leverage the power of the Yamaha YZF-R9 to become a consistent front-runner in the professional paddock.

Little Known Fact: First raced in motocross when he was five. Was a MiniMotoUSA (road racing) Champ by the time he was nine. Brenden’s dad did some club racing. Brenden calls the late-great Nicky Hayden his racing hero. Says Laguna Seca is his favorite track. Enjoys working on his truck during his off time. Played soccer when he was young, but admits with a grin that he was bad at it.
