Dominic Doyle

After a standout tenure in the Twins Cup, South African rider Dominic Doyle makes a highly anticipated move to the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship for 2026. Joining forces with Liberty Yamaha Racing, Doyle transitions to the premier middleweight class following four successful years of honing his craft and proving his podium pedigree on Yamaha machinery.

Doyle’s 2025 campaign served as a solid foundation for this step up. Competing for Giaccmoto Racing, he navigated a competitive Twins Cup field to finish 6th overall in the championship. His season was highlighted by four podium finishes, including two runner-up results, showcasing the tactical consistency and raw speed that have become his trademarks since arriving in the MotoAmerica paddock in 2017.

A proven winner with multiple victories across the Junior Cup and Twins Cup disciplines, Doyle has a reputation for adaptability. His 2024 season was particularly dominant, finishing 3rd in the Twins Cup standings with six podiums and wins at legendary circuits like Road Atlanta and Road America. Now, armed with the Liberty Yamaha platform, Doyle enters the Supersport ranks ready to challenge the established guard and continue his ascent as one of the most resilient international talents in American road racing.

Little Known Fact: Dominic is based out of Columbus, Indiana. At age five, he started racing in his native South Africa. As a youth rider, he made a transition from motocross to Supermoto and eventually road racing minibikes before moving up to a KTM RC 390.

2025 – Finished 6^th in MotoAmerica Twins Cup riding a Giaccmoto Racing Yamaha. Scored four podium finishes in the class with a best of 2^nd (twice). 2024 – Third-ranked rider in MotoAmerica Twins Cup on the strength of six podium finishes, including a pair of wins (Road Atlanta & Road America). Raced for Giaccmoto Yamaha Racing on a Yamaha YZF-R7. 2023 – Had a breakout year in MotoAmerica Twins Cup earning five podiums, including a victory at The Ridge, his first in the class. He finished the season ranked fourth. Raced with Team ISO on a Yamaha YZF-R7.  2022 – Finished 10^th in his first full season of MotoAmerica Twins Cup, riding a BARTCON Racing Yamaha YZF-R7. Scored a pair of podium finishes (third) at Road America and Pittsburgh. 2021 – A crash and wrist injury at the opening MotoAmerica Supersport Championship hampered Dominic’s season. He came back not fully recovered, but still managed 10 top-10 results and a solid eighth-place ranking in the Supersport standings. Best finish was 6th (three times). Rode for BARTCON Racing on a Kawasaki. 2020 – Finished second in MotoAmerica Liqui Moly Junior Cup. Took a total of 14 podium finishes, including three wins. Rode a BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400 in Junior Cup. Also raced select rounds of MotoAmerica Twins Cup for Robem Engineering/Ruthless Racing on a Suzuki SV650. Scored two podiums, including a runner-up finish at Monterey to finish 10^th in the final Twins Cup standings. 2019 – Raced a BARTCON Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400 in Junior Cup. Finished fifth in Junior Cup on the strength of four podium finishes during the season. 2018 – Raced the final three 2018 MotoAmerica events in Liqui Moly Junior Cup on a Dominic Doyle Racing Kawasaki. Earned one top-10 finish and was ranked 30^th in the final standings. 2017 – Raced as a wildcard at the Road America round of MotoAmerica KTM RC Cup and finished 11^th in race one. That put him 28^th in the final standings.
