Biography
Elisa Gendron Belén returns to the national stage for the 2026 MotoAmerica season, competing in the highly competitive MotoAmerica Twins Cup. Campaigning a 2024 Suzuki GSX-8R fielded by BGB Racing, this season marks Elisa’s second year in the Twins Cup and her fourth consecutive year as a full-time professional road racer. Her GSX-8R remains in capable hands, expertly prepared by Karns Performance, ensuring a technical foundation as she builds upon her rookie campaign.
Elisa’s progression through the MotoAmerica paddock has been defined by steady growth. After two seasons honing her craft in the Junior Cup—where she was a consistent point-scorer—she transitioned to the Twins Cup in 2025. During her debut season in the class, she successfully adapted to the increased power of the Suzuki platform, notably securing a 13th-place finish at Barber Motorsports Park. With an amateur background rich in club racing victories and international experience, Elisa enters 2026 with the refined racecraft and determination necessary to climb the standings in one of the series’ deepest talent pools.
Little Known Fact: Elisa was racing while a full-time student at St. John Fisher University studying Sports Management. Elisa is also an artist and enjoys painting and illustrating. She is married to fellow MotoAmerica competitor Levi Badie.
Career Highlights:
2025 – First season in MotoAmerica Twins Cup riding a Suzuki for Karns Performance Racing. Scored championship points with a 13th at Barber Motorsports Park. Ranked 33rd in Twins Cup. 2024 – Raced MotoAmerica Junior Cup on a Karns Performance Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400. Scored championship points in three rounds. Best result was 14th at both Road Atlanta and Road America. 2023 – First season in MotoAmerica Junior Cup/ Raced with Karns Performance Racing. Top result was 18th at Brainerd. 2022 – Finished on the podium in all 40 ASRA/CCS races she competed in, including earning 24 wins. Competed in two rounds of the Italika Racing International Women’s Cup in Latin America, with a top-10 finish.
