Gus Rodio

Gus Rodio enters the 2026 MotoAmerica season as a versatile dual-class threat, ready to capitalize on a year of transition and international experience. After a dominant tenure in the Twins Cup—highlighted by a runner-up championship finish in 2023 and a 2024 campaign featuring six podiums and a double victory at Daytona—Gus spent 2025 gaining vital seat time on middleweight machinery both at home and abroad.

Last season, Rodio navigated a limited Supersport schedule, securing a season-best 13th-place finish at New Jersey Motorsports Park. He further sharpened his race craft in the British National Sportbike Championship at Donington Park, earning a credible 12th-place result.

For 2026, the New Jersey native returns to full-time MotoAmerica competition with a busy double-duty schedule. He will campaign a Rodio Racing Suzuki GSX-R750 in the premier Supersport category while also slated to pilot a Ducati V2 Streetfighter in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship. Known for his technical precision and tactical consistency, Gus is prepared to leverage this diverse experience to challenge the established veterans across two of the paddock’s most competitive fields.

Little Known Fact: Gus calls Nicky Hayden the rider he most admired growing up.  He says riding Supermoto bikes is his favorite hobby.

Career Highlights:
2025 – Raced a limited MotoAmerica Supersport schedule (two rounds) and finished 30th in the championship with a best result of 13th at New Jersey. Also raced a round of the British National SportBike Championship at Donington Park and finished 12th. 2024 – Finished 4th in MotoAmerica Twins Cup racing an Aprilia for Rodio Racing – Powered by Robem Engineering. Scored six Twins Cup podiums including winning both rounds at Daytona. 2023 – Finished runner up in MotoAmerica Twins Cup and scored three wins along the way. In all he scored 10 podiums in his first full season in the series. Raced a Rodio Racing – Powered by Robem Engineering Aprilia.  2022 – Was the runner up in the MotoAmerica Junior Cup Championship riding his Rodio Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400. Tallied 11 podium results, including taking wins at The Ridge, New Jersey and Barber. It marked his first multi-win season. Also raced a few rounds of MotoAmerica Twins Cup on a Rodio Racing/Warhorse HBSK Racing Aprilia RS 660 and scored a pair of top-10 finishes with a seventh at Daytona his best result. 2021 – Earned three Junior Cup podiums, including a victory (his first) at Road America. Finished the season ranked third in the series. Raced a Rodio Racing Kawasaki. 2020 – Placed 11th in MotoAmerica Junior Cup (five top-5 finishes in the first seven races, was fifth in point standings before suffering season-ending injury). Best finish was fourth (three times). Raced a Rodio Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400. 2019 – MotoAmerica debut in the opening round at Road Atlanta. Earned three top-10 finishes in MotoAmerica Junior Cup racing a limited schedule. Ranked 20th. Raced a Rodio Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400.
