Kaleb De Keyrel

Former MotoAmerica Twins Cup Champion Kaleb De Keyrel embarks on a groundbreaking 2026 campaign, joining OrangeCat Racing to pilot the electric Lightfighter V3-RH in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship. Known as one of the most adaptable talents in the paddock, De Keyrel’s move to electric machinery follows a versatile 2025 season where he competed across multiple classes, including top-10 performances in both Stock 1000 and Twins Cup.

De Keyrel’s pedigree is highlighted by his dominant 2021 Twins Cup title and his impressive 2023 Stock 1000 runner-up finish, where he secured six podiums. Whether handling the precision of a middleweight twin or the raw power of a liter-class BMW and Aprilia, De Keyrel consistently finds the limit. He now brings that championship-winning experience to the evolving frontier of electric racing.

Little Known Fact: Kaleb’s dad was a motocross racer and Kaleb started BMX and then motocross before trying road racing when he was 11. Kaleb has also raced snowmobiles. Kaleb’s brothers both race, Mason in Downhill Mountain Bike and Levi in UTV racing. Kaleb is one of the rare racers to compete in both pro road racing and motocross.

Career Highlights:
2025 – Finished 19th in MotoAmerica Stock 1000. Best result was 9th at Road America. Raced a Top Pro Motorsports/CJKNOWS BMW M 1000 RR in Stock 1000 at Road America, then a PS² Racing Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory at COTA. Finished 23rd in Twins Cup racing just a couple of rounds of the series. Best Twins result was 9th at Laguna Seca. Raced with KD51 Race Team Yamaha YZF-R7 in Twins Cup at Barber and then a CJKNOWS Accident and Injury Law Suzuki GSX-8R at Laguna Seca. 2024 – Raced just the Daytona round of MotoAmerica Twins Cup and finished 7th in race two. Ranked 25th in Twins Cup based on that single finish. Raced a Yamaha R7 sponsored by 1-833-CJKNOWS Accident and Injury Law. 2023 – Raced to second place in the Stock 1000 class on an Orange Cat Racing BMW M 1000 RR. Scored six podiums during the season and finished second four times.  2022 – Raced a Veloce Racing Aprilia in Twins Cup to four podium finishes, including a victory in the season finale at Barber where he set a class lap and race record. Finished ranked fourth in the Twins Cup Championship. Raced select rounds of the 2022 CIV Aprilia RS 660 Cup Championship and scored a podium result (third) in race two at Imola. He finished seventh in the series. 2021 – Raced a Robem Engineering Aprilia to the MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship.  On his way to the title Kaleb scored 10 podium finishes in the 14-round series, including five wins.  It marked the first MotoAmerica National Championship for Kaleb.  2020 – Won three rounds of MotoAmerica Twins Cup and in all scored nine podium finishes en route to finishing the season ranked second. Raced for 1-833-CJKNOWS Accident & Injury Law on a Yamaha FZ-07/MT-07. 2019 – Missed most of the season due to injury (broken femur and sacrum) suffered in a club road race. Contested a few rounds of MotoAmerica Twins Cup and won at Laguna Seca. It marked his first pro victory. It was his only finish of the year in the series and placed him 18th in the final Twins Cup standings. Raced a Yamaha FZ-07/MT-07 for Roaring Toys/1-833-CJKNOWS. 2018 – Raced pro motocross. 2017 – Raced only the final round of MotoAmerica Supersport at Barber, but crashed in the first race and scored no points. 2016 – Did not race MotoAmerica. Raced select club events. 2015 – Scored six top-10 MotoAmerica Supersport finishes with a best of fifth at COTA. Finished 13th in the series. Raced a De Keyrel Racing Yamaha R6. 2014 – Had a breakout season in AMA Pro Supersport earning two podium finishes and ending the season ranked fifth. Raced a Yamaha R6 for his own De Keyrel Racing team. 2013 – Raced AMA Pro Supersport East and finished 11th in the championship, scoring three top-10 finishes. Raced a Yamaha R6 backed by CWS, Bleavley-Hayes, World Wide Motorex, Sportbike Track Time.
