Returning for his second full season in the MotoAmerica Talent Cup, Nathan Bettencourt enters 2026 as a proven frontrunner within the Bettencourt Racing stable. After transitioning from the Junior Cup and Mini Cup ranks, Nathan’s 2025 campaign was defined by remarkable consistency and growth. He secured an impressive sixth-place finish in the overall championship standings, notably scoring top-ten results in nearly every round.
The undisputed highlight of his breakout season came at New Jersey Motorsports Park, where he captured a hard-fought third-place finish to earn his first career MotoAmerica podium. With that milestone checked off and a year of elite-level experience under his belt, Nathan is poised to utilize his club racing pedigree and newfound momentum to challenge for more podiums and title contention in 2026.
Little Known Fact: Is being mentored by New England racing standout and former AMA Pro road racer Eric Wood. He has also worked closely with MotoAmerica Supersport racer PJ Jacobsen. Nathan wears the No. 99 to honor one of his racing heroes, Jorge Lorenzo. Plays basketball for his school.

Career Highlights:
2025 – Finished 6th in MotoAmerica Talent Cup riding for Bettencourt Racing. Scored in the top-10 in all but two rounds with the highlight being a podium finish (3rd) at New Jersey. That marked his first MotoAmerica podium. 2024 – Raced the final two events of MotoAmerica Junior Cup (Mid-Ohio and New Jersey) in his MotoAmerica debut. Scored championship points in both legs of the New Jersey round. Best finish was 14th. 2023 – Raced in MotoAmerica Mini Cup in 2023, completing an undefeated season in the Stock 125 class on his way to winning the Championship. In addition, Bettencourt finished third in Mini Cup’s GP 190 class, which earned him a trip to the FIM MiniGP World Series final in Spain. Won the Moto 3 Championship in the Northeast Motorcycle Road Racing (NEMRR) series, becoming the youngest Expert champion in NEMRR history. As a result, Bettencourt was named Vanson Rookie of the Year in NEMRR. 2022 – Won 2 WERA Sportsman National Championships (D Superbike Expert, F Superstock Expert), 10 race wins with WERA, co-rode to N2/WERA National Endurance Ultra-Lightweight class victory, won CCS 300 GP Expert Midwest Regional Championship, won ASRA Moto3 National race, won Road America Supermoto Mini Championship. 2021 – Won 2 WERA Sportsman National Championship (D Superstock Novice, F Superstock Novice), won 4 WERA Sportsman Regional Class Championships, won 18 WERA races. Also raced MotoAmerica Mini Cup and scored top-10 results. 2020 – Participated in his first MotoAmerica Mini Cup at Road America.
