Rocco Landers

Rocco Landers enters the 2026 MotoAmerica season embarking on one of the most talked-about transitions in the paddock. After years as a staple of the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson effort, the Oregon native makes the high-profile switch to the J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian team to pilot the Challenger in the Mission King Of The Baggers championship.

Landers remains one of the most statistically dominant young riders in series history. His 2025 campaign further highlighted his legendary versatility; he secured 7th overall in the King Of The Baggers series, collecting four podiums—including a brilliant runner-up finish at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Simultaneously, he tackled the Stock 1000 class on a Suzuki GSX-R1000R, claiming 7th in that championship while closing the year with two strong top-five finishes at the Circuit of the Americas.

A multi-time national champion, Landers famously swept both the Twins Cup and Junior Cup titles in 2020. With 54 career MotoAmerica wins across various disciplines, he brings a rare combination of youth and elite-level experience to the Indian factory ranks. For 2026, Landers is focused exclusively on the heavyweight Bagger title, aiming to leverage his precision and race craft to bring the #97 to the top of the podium.

Little Known Fact: Rocco has international racing experience having competed in both Spanish and Italian mini-bike championships. Is known for his confidence and fun-loving attitude around the pits. He often wears outlandish outfits and has been heard riding a bicycle around and talking trash, in a good-natured way, with some of the top Superbike riders. His dad Stoney Landers is a racer and instructor at the California Superbike School.

2025 – Finished 7th in MotoAmerica Stock 1000 riding for RevZilla/Mission/Vance & Hines Suzuki. Highlight in the Stock 1000 was a pair of 5th-place finishes in the closing weekend of the championship at Circuit of the Americas. Also raced King of the Baggers for RevZilla/Mission/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson and finished 7th in the series. Earned 4 podium finishes with a best of 2nd at Laguna Seca. 2024 – Impressed in his 2024 debut season in the King Of The Baggers Championship aboard the RevZilla/Mission/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson scoring two wins and seven additional podiums on his way to finishing fourth in the series.  Earned four national event wins and 7 podiums in total in the MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship and finished 2nd overall aboard the Suzuki GSX-8R. 2023 – Won a class leading six races in MotoAmerica Twins Cup. Finished third in Twins Cup with eight total podiums. Raced a Robem Engineering Aprilia RS 660 in Twins Cup. Raced a couple of rounds of MotoAmerica Supersport on a Landers Racing Yamaha R6 and scored two podium finishes (A 2nd and 3rd at Brainerd. Ranked 16th in Supersport based on those two finishes.  2022 – Earned 12 podiums, including four wins in MotoAmerica Supersport en route to finishing second in the championship. Those wins marked his first in Supersport racing. Raced a Lander Racing Yamaha YZF-R6. 2021 – Finished fourth in MotoAmerica Supersport with four podium finishes. Best result was runner-up at Brainerd. Raced a Landers Racing/Tyrant Designs/Yamalube Yamaha R6. 2020 – Won the MotoAmerica Twins Championship racing with SportbikeTrackGear.com Roadracingworld.com Suzuki. In Twins he scored a record nine wins in the 12-race series, that included an eight-race winning streak. Also earned the championship in the Liqui Moly Junior Cup for the second-consecutive year riding for Norton Motorsports on a Kawasaki Ninja 400R. It was almost complete domination, winning 15 of the 18 rounds. Raced a couple of rounds of the Red Bulls Rookie Cup in Europe. 2019 – Dominated the MotoAmerica Liqui Moly Junior Cup by winning 14 of the 17-race series in his debut season in MotoAmerica. Raced a Kawasaki Ninja 400R for Norton Motorsports.
