Australian Shane Maggs enters his third MotoAmerica Supersport campaign in 2026, transitioning from his familiar Yamaha R6 to a Suzuki GSX-R750. The Australian native, who brings a veteran background in international endurance and Superbike competition to the grid, is coming off a milestone 2025 season. After securing his first career MotoAmerica points with a career-best 15th-place finish at Laguna Seca, Maggs looks to climb the standings and leverage the Suzuki’s power this year in Supersport.
Little Known Fact: Before coming to racing Shane was a professional Cricket player in Australia and England. Shane considers himself a fitness fanatic and does extensive workouts almost every day. When Shane first came into road racing, he was a fan of Valentino Rossi and several other MotoGP riders.
