Heading into the final two rounds of the MotoAmerica season, with Rodio Racing’s and Anthony Mazziotto’s sights laser-focused on the REV’IT! Twins Cup Championship, Rodio Racing announces a new partnership with Robem Engineering to complete the 2022 season. The announcement was made by Kevin Rodio, team owner of Rodio Racing.

“Like anyone in a race paddock, we arrive to win,” Kevin Rodio said. “With the championship on the line and the need for a confident last two rounds, we have decided to partner with Robem Engineering to develop our Aprilia RS 660 starting next weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park.”

The news comes after a disappointing result in both races during the Pittsburgh round. The team struggled to find the solutions needed to extend the points lead they held going into Pittsburgh, and complications with development led to missed sessions and poor qualifying results. Rodio Racing and Mazziotto went into Pittsburgh with a one-point lead in the championship, but they now trail by a single point, finishing 6th and 10th, well off the pace of the lead group.

“We had high hopes for the partnership with HSBK and Warhorse” Rodio said, “But, in the end, we’re responsible for giving Mazz(iotto) everything he needs to win the championship, and we can’t have throwaway rounds like that.”

Mazziotto commented, “I appreciate HSBK and Warhorse putting me on the grid this year, and I thank them for their efforts up to this point. I’m in it to win it, though, and looking forward to the bike and support that Robem Enginering is going to put under me for the rest of the season.”
