Mission Mini Cup By Motul racer Mahdi Salem is rapidly joining the long list of fast road racers from New Jersey.

We’re going to be periodically bringing fans of the Mission Mini Cup By Motul series some mini interviews with the young stars who do battle in the championship with an eye towards the The Mission Mini Cup By Motul National Final that will be held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, August 9-11.

Lincoln Park, New Jersey

What has been the highlight of your racing to date?

I started riding motorcycles at an early age but without any tracks or racing. My father was racing as an amateur in different club racing organizations and I was traveling with him to different racetracks. I was riding little gas bikes the parking lots and then, in 2018, I started riding mini tracks without any racing. In May of 2019, I had my first race in the 50cc class.
