California rider Cory Ventura, who has become somewhat of a WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca specialist in MotoAmerica’s Supersport class over the past couple of years, will take his talents east next weekend where he will compete in Twins Cup aboard an Aprilia RS 660. He will be a teammate of Anthony Mazziotto on the Veloce Racing team.

Ventura is a former runner-up in both the 2017 KTM RC Cup and 2018 Junior Cup Championships. He moved up to Supersport in 2019 and finished the season ranked 12th in the Championship. For the past two years, Ventura only entered to race in MotoAmerica’s Supersport class at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca round, but his results have been spectacular. In 2020, he finished third in race one and fifth in race two at, and this past July, he finished third in both races at Laguna.

Commenting on the opportunity to compete aboard the new Aprilia RS 660 for Veloce Racing at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Ventura said, “I am super excited to be finishing up the Twins Cup season with Veloce Racing on an Aprilia RS 660. I have been working really hard all year with my personal program, and I am grateful to finish the year with Veloce Racing. I am super excited to work with the whole team, and to ride alongside Mazz. These next few weekends are going to be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait!”
