Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Unveil Powerhouse 2027 Line Up
The factory-backed Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati team will field a powerhouse rider line up in 2027, with incumbent Cameron Beaubier set to partner with MotoAmerica’s newest rising star, Darryn Binder.
MotoAmerica’s six-time and 2025 Superbike Champion Beaubier endured a rough season during his switch from Tytler’s Cycle BMW equipment to the heavily revised 2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R, his title hopes curtailed after a crash in round four at Road America saw him suffer significant shoulder injuries.
He returned to action at the penultimate round at Circuit of The Americas in emphatic fashion, taking pole position and charging to victory in Race 1, his first of the season and first in Ducati red.
A final pole position at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s concluding round showed the speed he and the Panigale possess, something the Californian hopes to build on in 2027.
“The 2026 season didn’t go the way I hoped due to the injury, but I’m happy I was able to finish out the year with a win, a podium, and more seat time on the Ducati,” Beaubier said. “It’s been great to be a part of the Warhorse team, and I’m really looking forward to coming back for some redemption with them in 2027.”
One of the undoubted stars of MotoAmerica in 2026 was Darryn Binder. The South African debuted for the Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati team in Supersport competition after an 11-year career inside the MotoGP paddock, dominating proceedings with 11 race wins and 14 podium appearances. Binder sealed the 2026 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship with a double victory at Circuit of The Americas and is now looking forward to stepping up to the big time in 2026 in the MotoAmerica Superbike championship.
“I just want to say a huge thank you to Warhorse for giving me the opportunity to step up onto the Panigale V4 R. I’m really looking forward to it. We had a great first season this year together in Supersport and managed to win the championship,” said Darryn Binder. “There’s been a fantastic vibe in the box this year, both with the supersport and superbike teams. Getting to know everybody has made me even more excited for this opportunity. I’ve never raced a superbike before, so it’ll be new to me, but I’m excited for the challenge and looking forward to seeing what the team can do.”
For Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Team Principal Bobby Shek, Binder’s appointment means he now has one of the strongest rider line ups on the grid as the team looks to capture a second MotoAmerica Superbike Championship win after Josh Herrin’s victory in 2023.
“We’re very happy to announce Cameron and Darryn as our riders for 2027,” said Shek. “Cameron has proven time and again what he is capable of in Superbike—seeing him return from injury and win at COTA this year showed the level of determination and ability he brings to our program.
“Darryn has had an incredible first season in MotoAmerica, winning the Supersport championship and demonstrating that he has the speed, skills, and consistency to succeed.
“Bringing these two riders together gives us a strong foundation for our 2027 Superbike program, and we’re looking forward to getting to work.”
