The MotoAmerica Talent Cup Championship assists America’s young road racers in reaching the highest level of the sport.
As part of the official “Road To MotoGP™,” Talent Cup is a spec-racing class in which riders aged 14 to 23 compete on GP-style, purpose-built Krämer APX-350 MA motorcycles.
“Racing high-performance motorcycles provides our young riders with more opportunities and better prepares them to compete at higher levels on the Road to MotoGP™,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “The MotoAmerica Talent Cup is on the same performance level as other ‘Road to MotoGP™’ Talent Cups around the world.”
As a side benefit of the program, at the end of each season, up to five MotoAmerica Talent Cup riders are invited to participate in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Selection Event.
