VIP Superfans Rally Behind Privateer Racer AJ Peaslee At Home Circuit
Circuit of The Americas (COTA) roared with energy as the MotoAmerica VIP Superfans delivered an unforgettable wave of support for Mission Super Hooligan National Championship privateer racer AJ Peaslee (AJ Peaslee Racing) during the MotoAmerica Superbikes at Texas event. The weekend’s randomly selected qualifying position — 21st — proved to be the lucky number for the Austin native, instantly making him the focus of the VIP Privateer Program’s generosity and enthusiasm.
Peaslee, who grew up in the Pacific Northwest before relocating to the warmer climate of Austin, Texas, competes in MotoAmerica’s Mission Super Hooligan National Championship aboard his new-to-him 2026 Ducati Streetfighter V2. With COTA and Laguna Seca topping his list of favorite tracks, the season finale offered the perfect blend of home-state pride and high-stakes racing.
The VIP Superfans’ contributions created a powerful boost for Peaslee’s privateer effort, highlighted by an auction — with the weekend’s guest racers serving as auctioneers — that included oversized action images of the guest racers captured by Ann and Geoff Nickles, a signed copy of Michael Hill’s Superbikes, the Stage and Me, autographed by Hill and three-time World Champion Wayne Rainey, exclusive VIP hats, and a 5-gallon VP Racing Fuels donation. Over the two days of the COTA VIP program, AJ was presented with a check for $4,030.00 — truly inspirational. Thank you, COTA VIPs!

“I feel incredibly fortunate,” said Peaslee. “I was left speechless by the support from all the VIP SuperFans at COTA. This is just so cool to be a part of and a really special and unexpected way to end what has been a tough season! My team and I had a lot bigger plans coming into 2026 but we were only able to race at Laguna Seca and COTA after some unexpected hurdles. That sort of captures what it means to be a privateer, and racing just presents challenges that we all have to overcome. It takes a lot of hard work to make it to an event, so getting to compete at these tracks is truly achieving a dream. I didn’t hit the results I’ve gotten in the past here when compared with my 4th place in 2023 and battling for the top 10 in 2024, but giving up is not an option! Thank you so much to everyone involved, both to the fans and MotoAmerica. This is something I’ll never forget, and I look forward to more racing in 2027.”
With the season nearing its conclusion, the VIP Privateer Program is on track to surpass a remarkable milestone in contributions — a testament to the passion and generosity of the VIP community.
