PS Squared Racing has enlisted the considerable talents of former MotoAmerica Champion Kaleb De Keyrel for the final round of the 2025 MotoAmerica Stock 1000 Championship, which wraps up next weekend at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. De Keyrel is a fill-in rider for Cory Ventura, who is continuing his recovery from leg injuries sustained in mid-season testing earlier this year. Ventura is scheduled to have surgery next week to completely reconstruct the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his right knee.

This will be a home race for De Keyrel, who is originally from Minnesota, but he has lived in Texas for almost a decade. De Keyrel and PS Squared Racing will continue to build on the progress they’ve made in Stock 1000 this season, including the positive development work and race results that fill-in rider Taylor Knapp accomplished on the Aprilia at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course last month, which was the penultimate round of the Stock 1000 Championship.

De Keyrel is no stranger to Aprilia equipment. In 2021, he raced an Aprilia RS 660 middleweight machine in the bike’s inaugural season of MotoAmerica competiton and won the Twins Cup Championship. In addition, he’s had a long-term friendship with PS Squared Racing co-owner Carl Price and is very familiar with everyone on the team.

Ventura expressed his disappointment in not being able to race at COTA, but he knows the PS Squared Racing Aprilia is, once again, in good hands with De Keyrel like it was with Knapp at Mid-Ohio. “I am devastated that I will not be able to compete aboard the Aprilia RSV4 1100 at the final round of the 2025 Stock 1000 Championship at COTA,” Ventura said. “I know my team and Taylor continued the development of our bike at Mid-Ohio, and I would have loved to show what we had at COTA. But, first, I have to focus on getting back to being healthy and knock out this ACL reconstruction. I am so lucky to have such an amazing team and family at PS Squared Racing, who supports me every step of the way.

“I am super excited to see what Kaleb can do on our motorcycle. I was impressed with Taylor and his ability to adapt quickly and bring in the best results we’ve had so far. Now, with Kaleb jumping on the bike at COTA, a track that I think will complement the RSV4, that’s a recipe for success.”

Knapp added: “I wish I could line up with the team this weekend, but prior commitments prevent me from racing at COTA. That said, the improvements we made at Mid-Ohio showed just how much potential the Aprilia and this program have. Kaleb and the team are both proven, and I’m excited to see what they can achieve together.”

Gene Burcham, PS Squared Racing Team Manager commented, “It’s great to be working with Kaleb again. He brings speed, experience, and the right attitude to help us keep pushing the RSV4 forward. Brandon (Cole, Crew Chief) and I are both excited to see what we can accomplish together this weekend at COTA.”

With momentum building and a rider who is very eager to prove himself on Aprilia’s premier platform, PS Squared Racing looks forward to competing at one of the most iconic racetracks in North America.

PS Squared Racing extends sincere thanks to its valued partners, whose support makes these efforts possible: Imperial Sportbikes, Piaggio Group of the Americas/Aprilia, Robem Engineering, Powersport Supply, Vesrah Brakes, Accossato, Dunlop Tires, SC Project USA/Motovation, and Blud Lubricants. Also thank you to Kaleb’s personal sponsors KD51, Ridesmart, and CJ Knows.
