The COATZYMOTO-LATIN WE race team, which is supported by internationally acclaimed actress Sofía Vergara, is in Daytona and participating in the MotoAmerica Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, with experienced Venezuelan rider Robertino Pietri in the saddle of the team’s Yamaha XSR900.

Pietri is currently a MotoGP and MotoAmerica on-air TV analyst for ESPN. The former Latin American Champion and 2018 DAYTONA 200 podium finisher returns to the “World Center of Racing” after a distinguished racing career in World Superbike, AMA, CEV, and MotoGP.

Pietri’s return and Vergara’s support are new highlights for the historic COATZYMOTO-LATIN WE race team. “I’m so happy to support COATZYMOTO-LATIN WE in MotoAmerica, and I’m sure Robertino will do incredibly well,” said Vergara.

Founded 50 years ago, the team of Luis Balaguer and Fernando Barbosa, winners of the legendary Baja 500 and Baja 1000, are confident that Pietri will have a solid performance in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship.

The first two races of the 2026 Super Hooligan season will take place at Daytona International Speedway with race one on Friday at 1:40 p.m. and race two on Saturday at 11:05 a.m.
