Originally from Port Elizabeth in South Africa, Dominic Doyle has been living and racing in the United States for the past seven years. The Giaccmoto Yamaha Racing team member is competing this season in two different MotoAmerica race classes, including the SC-Project Twins Cup Championship on a Yamaha YZF-R7 and the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Powered By Harley-Davidson on a Yamaha MT-09 SP.

With professional motorcycle road racing providing Doyle the opportunity to travel around the country, it also gives him an opportunity to visit the Humane Society locations that are closest to the racetracks where he competes. Through his love of animals–dogs, and especially, cats–Doyle raises money at each MotoAmerica round, which he then donates to the local Humane Society.

For this weekend’s MotoAmerica round at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Doyle is focused on helping the Humane Society of Richland County, which is located in Mansfield, Ohio, less than 10 miles from Mid-Ohio. He has set up a GoFundMe page called “Racing4 Rescues.” Doyle’s goal is to raise $700 for the Humane Society of Richland County, and he’s asking you to visit the page and donate generously.

The Humane Society of Richland County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization. They do not receive any state, local, or federal funding, and they operate solely through the generosity of supporters like you. Incidentally, the organization was established way back in 1884 as the Mansfield Humane Society, and it was originally created for the protection of animals, seniors, and children. Then, as other programs became available to help people, the Humane Society was able to turn its focus solely on the care and protection of animals.

The Humane Society of Richland County’s mission is to advocate and compassionately care for the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in the community, and to find them loving homes. And, that’s also Dominic Doyle’s mission, as well.

Look for the Yamaha BLU CRU #25 Super Hooligan bike this weekend at Mid-Ohio, and that’s where you’ll find Dominic Doyle. He’d love to have you stop by and share your passion for animals with him and his Giaccmoto Yamaha Racing crew.
