It was only a test, and it was a wet test at that. But, six-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier and his Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law crew, plus a few Ducati Corse personnel providing additional assistance, did work despite the substantially less-than-ideal weather conditions at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal. Here are a few snaps from day two, courtesy of Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law, with some captions thrown in for good measure:

The all-new Ducati Panigale V4 R Superbike. Double-sided swingarm. Bigger wings. And, hey, how does a dry clutch stay dry in the rain?
Still the baby-faced assassin. And still wearing Alpinestars leathers and Bell helmets.
Beaubier also loves wings with hot sauce. Lots and lots of hot sauce.
Crew chief Simoné Toso is Italian, but “thumbs-up” is the universal language. Also, Beaubier’s manager and confidant Jake Zemke is watching. Always watching.
The other side of the twin-fork swingarm on the new Ducati Panigale V4 R. And how about that tasty-looking subframe and seat unit?
Sing it, Simoné! “Raindrops keep falling on his head. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy to be riding red.”
Eyes wide-open and a clear visor are the only way to ride when it’s pissing down rain.
You can still bend it like Beaubier on a soaking-wet track when your Superbike is shod with rain tires…and your name is Cameron Beaubier.
Knee down no matter the weather when you’re a six-time Superbike champ. Also, check out those new side scoops on the lower fairing keeping that vee-four powerplant nice and cool.
