Now, here’s some great news coming out of the Northeast.

Rodio Racing has announced that Ben Gloddy is joining the team’s expanding program, giving the New Jersey-based privateer squad another experienced rider as it builds on a strong debut earlier this season at Daytona International Speedway.

New Hampshire rider Gloddy will make his debut with Rodio Racing at Barber Motorsports Park for round two of the 2026 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship. The 20-year-old former Junior Cup and Twins Cup standout will race the #44 Rodio Racing Ducati Streetfighter V2 in Roland Sands’ hugely popular and massively competitive, high-handlebar, naked-bike series.

Rodio Racing made its first appearance in the Super Hooligan National Championship last month at Daytona International Speedway with Gus Rodio finishing a very strong fifth in both races aboard his #95 Ducati Streetfighter V2. It was an impressive showing for Gus, and it immediately put Rodio Racing on watch as a top contender in one of MotoAmerica’s most popular race classes, especially considering they operate without any factory support at all.

The addition of Gloddy adds another layer of strength to the team’s lineup, while also continuing a relationship that goes back several years. Gloddy and the Rodio family have known each other since the early days of Gus’s and Ben’s racing careers, beginning with mini moto racing with NJMiniGP at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Deep friendships and mutual respect were established long before the pair reached the national stage.

Rodio Racing will field two Ducati Streetfighter V2s for the remainder of the 2026 MotoAmerica season, with Gus and Ben working in tandem to develop the bike and garner success.

In addition to its Super Hooligan program, Rodio Racing will also continue to compete in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. Gus raced in the 84th running of the DAYTONA 200 and brought his #96 Ducati Panigale V2 across the finish line with a solid, top-10 result, further showcasing the team’s commitment to building a multi-class presence at the national level.

Also continuing with the program is LuxeStarVIP, which has supported Rodio Racing for years and now steps forward in an expanded partnership role as the team grows its MotoAmerica presence.

“Adding Ben to the program is a big step for us,” said team owner Kevin Rodio. “There’s a lot of history there between Ben and our family going back to the NJMiniGP days, so this is something that means a lot on a personal level, as well as on a competitive one. We came out of Daytona feeling proud of what Gus and the whole team accomplished in our debut, but also motivated by how much more we know is possible. We’re building this program as a true privateer team, and having Ben join us while continuing our long relationship with LuxeStarVIP is another important step forward. We’re excited to have him join us starting at Barber.”

Gloddy commented, “I’m excited to get started with Rodio Racing at Barber. I’ve known Gus and the Rodio family for a long time, and I know how hard they work and how serious they are about building this program. From a racer’s standpoint, this is a great opportunity to get on the bike, put in the work, and fight for strong results. The goal is to gel quickly with the team, keep improving every session, and be competitive right away.”

With Rodio Racing continuing to build momentum, Gus coming off a successful Daytona debut, Gloddy joining the effort at Barber Motorsports Park, and LuxeStarVIP increasing its involvement, the team heads deeper into the season with growing confidence and clear direction.
